As avid theme park fans, Ferrari World is something we couldn’t miss during our Abu Dhabi trip. Thankfully Yas Island Rotana was gracious enough to provide us complimentary tickets during our stay at their hotel. By the way Rotana is the partner hotel of Ferrari World.
Ferrari World is one of the main attractions in the capital for adrenaline and speed junkies. Located at the heart of Yas Island, Abu Dhabi it’s only a 45-minute car ride from Dubai. The indoor park showcased spectacular collections of unique Ferrari models and the world’s fastest roller coaster. In fact Ferrari World won World Travel Awards 2015 as the Middle East’s Leading Tourist Attraction.
Staying in Yas Plaza was advantageous for us because attractions like Yas Waterworld, Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Mall, Yas Beach and Ferrari World are very near. The commute was not a problem since Yas Island has a shuttle service that brings guests back and forth from the attractions and to their respective hotels within Yas Island.
We arrived at Ferrari World around 10 in the morning and it wasn’t open yet. So we went shopping first at the Ferrari shop and got some souvenirs. The park opened at 11 in the morning.

With Berto the Mechanic and Ferrari Crew
At exactly 11 o’clock the park was officially opened with a welcome show and dance performance of the Ferrari crew and mascots. It was a fun way to start your day at the park.
Car Display at Galleria Ferrari
Ferrari World showcased these amazing and unique car models with its car design history.
Adrenaline Pumping Rides
Formula Rossa is the world’s fastest roller coaster. Experience the adrenaline rush of an acceleration from 0 to 240 km/h in 5 seconds.
Flying Aces has the world’s tallest loop. Feel what is like to be a daredevil pilot and get ready with the twist and turns of this ride.
Speed of Magic is a 4D fantasy dreamscape adventure.
One of the advantages of coming early is that you don’t have to wait for longer queues to enjoy the rides. We almost tried all the rides, except those scary ones like Flying Aces and Turbo Track. At the same time I was very proud of myself to try Formula Rossa and Fiorano GT Challenge.
Entertaining Shows
The park has several shows for everyone. Check out their maps to see which one you would like to watch.
A Piece Of Italy
Navigate around the waterways of little Italy.
I love that the Ferrari World has a replica of the streets in Italy. It gives a vibe like as if you really are in Italy.
The place is very charming and Instagrammable too. So if you are not into luxury sports cars then imagine yourself exploring Italy by taking a lot of pictures. Don’t forget to also share some of those pictures in your social media account.
We certainly had amazing and memorable experience at Ferrari World. Something we ticked off from our bucket list. The park isn’t that big and can be explored leisurely in 3 hours especially if you’re early. We didn’t take our lunch at the park rather we had our lunch at Yas Mall. Bringing our little one here is definitely a good reason to go back. As they have something for the little tots to enjoy.
If you’re planning to visit Ferrari World soon, you may check their website at ferrariworldabudhabi.com to see their current promos and offers. Ciao!
As a Ferrari fan, I am so jealous!!! OHMYGODDDD GUSTO KO PUMUNTA DIYAN hahahaha!!!

They’re on display all throughout the place. Arabs are so fond of fast cars. Marketing strategy perhaps? 🙂

I had been to Ferrari World during December 2017. I really enjoyed the show and some of the rides they had. However, I’m scared of heights and couldn’t check out the rollercoasters. I hope you had fun though.
