Have you been to this year’s Yanbu Flower Festival? Well if you haven’t gone yet, #YanbuFlowerFestival2019 is running on its second week now. That means you only have 2 weeks left to visit the event.
The festival is not just about flowers. There are many things to see and do in the festival grounds. It’s a perfect getaway for the whole family. If you don’t have any plans yet, here are 9 reasons why you to need to see it.

At first glance you might say there are only few kinds of flowers displayed. However, if you take some time checking the gardens, you will see different varieties of flowers.

Meet the birds at the Mini Aviary
To access the aviary, you first need to purchase a ticket at the entrance. The ticket cost 25 SAR for adults and 20 SAR for children. They have different kinds of birds that you can interact with. You can ask the attendants to hold the birds and take pictures with them.

Check the Mini Strawberry Farm and Plant Nursery
Enjoy rides and other fun attractions
Try different goodies from the Food Court
Don’t worry you won’t go hungry here. The food court houses different restaurants, cafe’s and refreshment kiosks that features both international and local delicacies.
Watch out for the fireworks display
Finally, before leaving the festival grounds make sure to watch the fireworks display. This happens every weekend at around 10 o’clock in the evening or before closing time. The timings may vary so it is better to ask the Information Desk to know the proper schedules.
